- Request a user directory, e-mail IPDS
with the subject "I want a User Directory". Ask him to use
your login name for the directory name or another name that you
specify.
- Learn about HTML, go to the NCSA
(at UIUC) Beginner's Guide to HTML Website and read about HTML.
- When you write your HTML files, make sure you include a file
called "Index.htm". This is the starting point for your
web pages.
- Write your own HTML using Window's Notepad or Write, or find a
HTML editor at Download.com.
Type "HTML editor" in the Quicksearch.
- FTP your HTML files to our server, if you don't have a FTP
program, you can get one at Download.com.
Type "FTP" in the Quicksearch.
- In the FTP program, type in the server "ftp.intplsrv.net".
You will have to use your login and password to transfer the files
to your directory.
- That should be it! Access your pages at www.intplsrv.net/"your_directory_name"
